Tears for the Dying has gone through several lineup changes since forming, with Adria Stembridge remaining at the heart of the project while different musicians have contributed to live performances and recordings over the years. Following a period away from touring in 2026, additional musicians now join as needed for specific shows and recording projects.
Adria Stembridge
Adria is the vocalist, bassist, guitarist, and songwriter for Tears for the Dying. An autistic musician living with epilepsy, she writes from experiences of isolation, survival, identity, grief, and finding connection outside the mainstream. Her work moves between deathrock, post-punk, goth, and darkwave, with a strong focus on atmosphere and emotionally direct songwriting.
Live and Studio Collaborators
Since Tears for the Dying began in 2003, many musicians have contributed to live performances and studio recordings. The people listed here represent only a selection of those collaborators, while everyone who has taken part has brought something meaningful to the work they were involved in.
